Product Description

So far, the contact angle on solids can be directly and accurately measure (SI-CAM2000 contact angle measuring instrument can be measured), but for the powder samples, since the fine particles, the surface is not smooth, it can't be measured directly, only indirectly measured.
There are two kinds of methods for measurement : the compression method and the infiltration method. The compression method is the need to measure the contact angle of powder by a tabletting machine and compressed the powder into tablets, and then measuring the contact angle measurements on solids The infiltration method is a powder packed in a hollow tube inner diameter uniform compaction ,by determination of compacted powder bed liquid permeation rate to determine the contact angle. Permeation need for a perfect wetting liquid as a reference. It can be more accurately measured liquid wetting properties of the solid powder according to Washburn infiltration method. JK99 series automatic tension meter (rings law, hanging plate method) can quickly and accurately measure the surface / interfacial tension, CMC and fiber contact angle.
