PT-OCA series analyzers---octane number analyzer, and petroleum product low temperature parameter analyzer, are used to detect the parameters of diesel oil , engine oil and aviation kerosene. These instruments are widely used in the quality inspection of petroleum products. Portable octane number analyzer is often used for on-site analysis of octane number of motor gasoline, corresponding to motor method and research method ( RON and MON ), and can also be applied to cetane number analysis of diesel . In addition , the temperature of the analyzed liquid and the freezing point of diesel oil can also be measured , and the measurement results are displayed on the LCD liquid crystal display.

Measurement principle
The principle of the octane number analyzer is to measure the insulation permeability of gasoline octane number and cetane number of diesel oil and the electric charge characteristic of electromagnetic induction . The result is determined by measuring the dielectric properties of the sample and comparing it with known parameters stored in memory . The instrument is very sensitive and can measure small changes in dielectric parameters. It can detect petroleum product parameters such as octane number and cetane number.
